About Bob's Infamous

At Bob’s Infamous, our store specializes in selling hemp products. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and care, which is why we started this business.

Our story began when my friend Ian and I decided to start this company. We wanted to create a business that was flexible enough for me to take care of my children, especially my Autistic son. I met my now business partner, Ian, and I asked him why he used Hemp. He said he uses Hemp to help him with a rare form of Epilepsy. So I did massive amounts of research to see if Hemp was safe and if I could help ease some of my son's autism symptoms. After 6 months of intense research, I gave my son CBD. I was amazed at the calming effects it had on him.  It took the edge off of his symptoms and seemed to make him happier.  The business was born on June 3, 2017.

We are proud of what we have accomplished and strive to make the lives of our customers better with each item our shop provides.

What is Hemp?

Hemp (Cannabis sativa) is the same species of plant as cannabis. Unlike cannabis, hemp contains very low levels of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Both hemp and cannabis also contain cannabinoids such as cannabidiol (CBD), cannabidivarin (CBDV), cannabigerol (CBG), and others. The 2018 Farm Bill established the specific definition of hemp versus cannabis by limiting the THC content of hemp to no more than 0.3%. Hemp seeds contain fats, protein, and other chemicals.

People use hemp for constipation, high cholesterol, eczema, arthritis, and many other conditions.

Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as delta-8 THC, is a psychoactive substance found in the Cannabis sativa plant, of which marijuana and hemp are two varieties. Delta-8 THC is one of over 100 cannabinoids produced naturally by the cannabis plant but is not found in significant amounts in the cannabis plant. As a result, concentrated amounts of delta-8 THC are typically manufactured from hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD).

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a chemical in the Cannabis sativa plant, also known as cannabis or hemp. One specific form of CBD is approved as a drug in the U.S. for seizures.

Over 80 chemicals, known as cannabinoids, have been found in the Cannabis sativa plant. Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the most famous ingredient in cannabis. But CBD is obtained from hemp, a form of the Cannabis sativa plant that only contains small amounts of THC. CBD seems to have effects on some chemicals in the brain, but these are different than the effects of THC.

A prescription form of CBD is used for seizure disorder (epilepsy). CBD is also used for anxiety, pain, a muscle disorder called dystonia, Parkinson disease, Crohn disease, and many other conditions.
